Why I do Real Estate...
I have been in Real Estate for over a decade now. I was raised around real estate with my father and grandfather being realtors. My uncle and cousin have also been involved one way or another when it comes to Real Estate or construction. I love to work with people and understand that real estate is usually the largest purchase a person will make. I believe in the investment of Real Estate, even in tough times. As the saying goes, "they are not making any more land" and having the tax right off every year, along with a place to call home speaks loud to me.
My other life consist of working as a full time professional firefighter. I am passionate about the fire service and public service in general. I do 3-4 charity events every year and believe in making a difference for others who don't have the fortunate life that I do. When Kris and I left Century 21, we created a special program for firefighters, police officers, nurses and teachers. If there is any way we can earn your business, we would be honored. About Kris Langdahl
A little about me...
I was born in Tacoma, Washington, and have spent all my life in the Pierce and King County areas. Originally from Sumner,WA, my home for the past 27 years has been on the East Hill of Kent, Washington. While attending Green River College, I started working at a transportation consulting company called NTA, Inc....and was the 5th employee hired. When I left after 25 years, I was the Office Manager overseeing more than 80 employees. In 1998 I went to work for The Boeing Company in Human resources. After being laid off from Boeing in 2003, I decided to change careers and utilize my organizational and people skills as a Realtor. Over the past several years, with my business partner, Dean McAuley, I have sold many homes.
My best asset is that I am a good listener, and will take note of the buyer or seller’s concerns and needs. Our clients include Firefighters, Law Enforcement Officers and Educators. Earning their trust and rewarding their profession through a supportive transaction.
On a personal note I have been married for 27 years and was blessed with having my daughter with me for 25 years. My hobbies include jewelry making, scrapbooking, traveling (especially to the Hawaiian Islands), and meeting new people. I have been involved with and have supported the following organizations; M.A.D.D. (Mother’s Against Drunk Driving), Kent Food Bank, The Humane Society, and M.O.P.S. (Mother’s of Pre-Schoolers).
